FAQs

Membership

Q:

How do I become a member?

A:

Open enrollment is July 1st every year. Registration will close when we reach capacity.

Please read our Policies & Guidelines, click Join during open enrollment, and complete all the information. Dues are $60yr for a family. Once you have completed this, you will receive an email welcoming you to the group with more information and access to our Facebook page and email list.

Q:

Why should I join EACH?

A:

EACH is a cooperative group of families offering weekly enrichment opportunities, including park days, secular classes, field trips, events, and other activities in Greensboro and Guilford County. Our mission is to create opportunities for diverse learning experiences and lasting friendships in a secular, inclusive community guided by curiosity and respect. We celebrate our differences and endeavor to be a safe and welcoming place for Black, Indigenous, People of Color, people of any/no religion, and LGBTQ+ families.

Policies

Q:

Are masks required?

A:

Masks are optional for all of EACH's classes unless required by an individual teacher. Click here and scroll down for more information on our sick policy.

Q:

Does EACH have a conflict resolution policy?

A:

Yes, please visit our Policies & Guidelines page for more information.

Scholarships

Q:

Does EACH offer Scholarships?

A:

Yes. EACH strives to allow all interested children to attend at least one secular class per session. We recognize that costs are prohibitive for some families and provide scholarships. We can offer scholarships thanks to donations and fundraising efforts, and the number of scholarships we can offer depends on the funds available in our scholarship account. To apply for a scholarship for your child, please complete the scholarship application.

Q:

How can I contribute to the EACH scholarship fund or make a donation to EACH?

A:

Please visit our Support page, where you can find two ways to help: donating directly to EACH and connecting your Harris Teeter VIC card to EACH of Greensboro (where we earn a small portion from your purchases). EACH of Greensboro is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, so your direct donations are tax deductible. If you need a receipt for tax purposes, please email the Treasurer. Thank you for supporting EACH!

Classes & Park Days

Q:

When and where do you meet?

A:

We meet every Tuesday for Park Days in Greensboro. Our secular classes are on Thursdays and run in 6-week quarters—two quarters in the Fall and two in the Spring.

Q:

What is your class schedule like?

A:

We offer secular classes for ages 5-18 for our members, with different classes offered each quarter. Classes run once per week for six-week quarters. We have two quarters in the Fall and two quarters in the Spring. Our Thursday Class schedule offers classes at 10 am, 11 am, 12 pm, and 1 pm.

Q:

Do I need to stay while my child is in class?

A:

EACH does not provide childcare services. Parents are asked to stay with their children between classes. EACH is not responsible for your child/children between their classes, and we ask that a parent or guardian be on site. We have plenty of space outside to wait, with some chairs indoors. There is a playground around the back of the building and plenty of parking.

Q:

Do you offer the same classes each session?

A:

Most classes change each quarter, but occasionally there is a series of classes, or popular classes return regularly.

Q:

Are there activities for Teens?

A:

Yes! We love our teens! We have a very active group of teens who enjoy park days, classes, Teen Club, and many events we plan. We encourage our parents to help plan events their teen is interested in and invite others. We have a forum for teens and their parents to help keep up with activities and a moderated discord server for our teens and teens in the LGBTQ+ community.
